Don't know why, but got bike with short stemmed mirrors.  Been living with staring at my shoulder while riding for the past year! Now I'm tired of bending my arm to see if a cop is behind me!     anyone have a set of normal length mirrors they wanna sell or trade me?

I have these 2 pairs of mirrors. Black ones have some scuffing on the back, but not bad. They are OEM ones that used to be on Trey before I put on new ones.
Chrome ones need cleaning of the rust. If interested, make offer.

What would you suggest I use to clean the rust off the chrome ones? I like those better.

I would be unsure about any chemicals in case they leaked behind the glass and ruined the reflective coating. Probably lightly sand then use a good chrome spray paint on them.
Otherwise, Eastwood's rust dissolver might work. maybe I'll try it on a spot and see. (Don't know what to do - depressed about Junior.)

Scotchbrite pad with a little automatic transmission fluid removes rust from chrome.
