Just because I am bored, I am currently designing a custom top clamp for fitting a gsxr600 (04/05, possibly other years) front suspension to the GS while retaining most other GS steering area related parts, ie speedo/tacho, ignition lock (with full steering lock ability), handlebars etc.  It's a bit of a hybrid at the moment, as it is also designed with hayabusa clamp bolts in mind instead of the standard gsxr600 just because I prefer recessed allen key heads to exposed socket heads.

Some of the dimensions might be a little off at the moment since I don't have a spare gs clamp to take measurements from, and it's kind of difficult to measure some of the bits while mine is still attached to the bike. Some dang fool put a head light and speedo/tacho assembly in the way of easy measurements :D

Anyone have a spare top clamp and a set of calipers handy to do a little bit of measuring for me?

I need a few measurements relating to the ignition lock mounting.

Current update.

Won't be progressing too much further till I can find some way of getting accurate measurements for the ignition mount I think.
