And I think Junior is sexier without the belly pan.

The GS500 I met waiting for the ferry (left) and friends new Duc from the insurance settlement (right). Who would figure meeting people at the ferry dock? That's Seattle biking! We legally go around and bypass the cars and get to load first!

I have definitely seen that GS around a couple times too! But I'm going to have to agree with codajastal, slap that belly pan back on. I've got a doctor's appointment Friday, otherwise I'd be there and just do it for you  :D

I scouted out the route to the ferry today, since I had no idea how to get there. Got a ride planned for later in the week involving the sunrise boat and heading to the mountains. We'll see what happens.
When in doubt, empty the magazine.

What are you up to Saturday? Working to get some people together for Vashon on Saturday.

When going to the Fauntleroy ferry: go around the cars. Enter in the EXIT and go up to the ticket building way down on the left side. Then they will direct you to parking and signal for you to load first.
On return from Vashon: follow the signs for foot traffic. It bypasses the line of cars. Then go to the triangle between the two ferry docks and park. You load first. They will direct you. No ticket needed for return trip. The ferry workers have always been really nice and helpful. I can email you some good maps or leave one for you with magnets to stick on your tank (you can pick up if I'm not here during the week or still sleeping).

At any ferry terminal: find the ticket booth. On many you can bypass the cars. Park and buy your ticket at the passenger booth. Ask where they want you to go to wait for the ferry. Bikes always load first except sometimes when the ferry makes multiple stops. they will always help you.

On some routes you can buy a round trip ticket. From Vashon: there is no return ticket to West Seattle. Its free.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty locked down all weekend. I have got to get out there with you sometime soon though.

In the end the most important piece of safety gear is the thing you put inside your helmet.

noticed the exhaust was getting loud, than i found bolts missing from both exhaust ports!  :dunno_white:

I replaced them and all is better, nice and quiet again...it even fixed a minor hesitation problem...

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Wish that was the problem when i changed my exhaust to the new Jardine, mine had a bolt broken off in the head, after some careful drilling i was able to tap a bigger bolt to fit.

Went on a ride yesterday. Caught the 5:30 Boat out of Seattle, rode with a friend to the Olympic national park visitors center at hurricane ridge. Sorry for the quality, just from my little dumbphone.

Here's the gas fill up the night before, WITH the new fender (and mudflap patrick) on:

Here's some pics from the top:

Here's the boat ride back

What a day!

Did you take the topbox off for the Summit snaps?

Nice front screen thingy. Nice color too. Don't see too many white ones.  :thumb:

I checked the oil and gave it a dust down.

Started my frame up rebuild on my recently acquired 2006F. Got the engine removed and started some cleaning.
Maybe I'll start a build thread after the grease is all off me.
