I like to make quick, easy, and fun challenges to keep the game going. I feel a stall coming with this challenge.

Also Sunset was a previous challenge and was complete. I guess it a sunrise photo then :dunno_white:
Alright. how about this...

Your bike next to any other bike with the same or close to the same paint/color scheme as yours.

Extra cudos if you get the previous challenge:
"The back end of your bike on the right side of the image lightly angled to the left of the picture with the sunset or sunrise on the left, with the camera angled low."

I'll be looking foreward to your photo Formori. :D

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So close! lol  :flipoff:

Gettin' up early tomorrow to grab the sunrise then! :icon_mrgreen:

Lol.  That was really close.

Man, when I first saw the canopy road challenge I was stoked.  Tally is full of them.  Real canopy roads, not just ones where the trees barely touch.  :flipoff:

This one was mine on the previous page.  At close to the end of the day, this road looks like night.  It's also an amazing road.  Alot of nice corners.  Right here in Factoryville, pretty close to the little rocky glen.

There's a better canopy road semi near me about 20 miles away, but I can't remember how to get there.  last time I was there was like 3 years ago.  If I took the time to find it, Formor would have won. lol.

Formori

Holy $h17, isn't this funny. I narrowly miss the first challenge, and looks who's parked out front today! :icon_mrgreen:

So, I think this counts for "same or close to paint scheme"

I guess with that, the next challenge is:

Your bike (GS or not) with an Large Animal Crossing Sign (like moose or deer)

Win. lol

I just realized that that was you that posted the one with the same color scheme. lol.  Thought that was someone else.  I was referring to the sunrise shot so you could still get the extra cudos, but you got the win anyways. haha.

Formori

Well, considering I just got a new lens for my DSLR, I'm playing with it and taking pictures anyway, so I might if I get the opportunity!  :icon_mrgreen:

Now I just need my new tankbag to arrive so I can carry the camera easily and take quick pictures! :icon_rolleyes:

Nice. Im into photography too.

AussieChick

Don't have a lot off moose or deer in Australia...in fact the only animal signs I think I've ever seen around are ducks and koalas :(

Damn America-specific challenges! haha.

Wish I took a picture of the sign on a road going up Mt. Rainer. No image on it but it said:
"Narrow shoulder. Watch out for pedestrians, bicycles and elk"

mister

Largest we got around here is kangaroo. They get pretty big, would that do?

I would say so. Kind of our equivalent to a moose/deer. Not that they're that big in real life but the Americans probably think so haha

Formori

Kangaroo will do! :icon_mrgreen:

I was trying to make the challenge less "this specific animal" and therefore easier to get. I've seen signs for buffalo, moose, deer, caribou, and bears so I figured any 'large-animal' would do.

It's the challenge of parking next to one and snapping the picture!

Next challenge: Your bike next to a windmill still functioning for power production or pumping water.

Cosimo_Zaretti

Can it be still functioning as an obstacle to golf balls?

Haha somehow I don't think that counts as  "still functioning for power production or pumping water"

Yet another challenge I won't be able to do since I don't think I've ever seen a windmill in real life :( or at a golf course even....

Theres still a few around here you just have to know where to look :thumb:
I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

C'mon AussieChick, you cannot call yourself an Aussie and say you've never seen this....

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen one of those in real life.......

I'm not very observant though...and I don't get out that much!
