indeed they are. well not using the chain, i ended up grabbing a 40 chain. however the sprocket is indeed the one. now to teh update there were 2.5 survivors 1 the bike, 2 me and .5 the engine. front engine mount let go pulling the engine up and to hte left ( chain side ) reason i say the mount versus a chain lockup is because both sides of chain, ( top and bottom) survived. now to tthe mount. there is about 2mm give or take .5 on either side of hole i can either tap or helicoil that hole and we'll be good ( and realigh chain setup etc. ) not really willing to lay blame on the engine though. it is perhaps my fault? because i changed bolts last night ( final assy.) one in pic on front facing camera was packed full of metal. this has happened before and i rode for miles like this. so i changed bolts tightened it ( using final 3-4 threads) and test rode this morning. it passed. so i came back, loaded up and rode to work. successful. fast forward to evening>>>> i didnt look down and see if that bolt had let go or not. i ended up with a chain lockup after engine jumped off front frame. but am thinking front bolt let go, engine jumps off frame and causes lockup of chain. i carry it 400ft and call for ride lol. also pulled off fuel line. i shut off fuel. sorry no fire tonight lol. damn felt good to ride again. repair plans are either tap engine. or helicoil, OR since not much chinese metal to work with, may use remaining two threads, and other side good one, and a 6" hose clamp for backup ( around tube and engine) will try ang get a good macro of damaged mount tomorrow and will update if net is still running. normally id be  :technical: ( was for 5 mins lol. ) but realised, ehh shaZam! happens. my fault perhaps so packit up and move forward. she will ride again soon

What a Bummer. You are not having much luck are you yama.
Use some threadlock on the bolts to keep them in place.

aye. am looking at that. but hole has been dethreaded. i guess engine cases made out of recycled car parts sometimes let go. hole is usable but 2mm of case on inside and 2mm on outside 20+mm top and bottom either tap it, or helicoil it, or ( looks like 2 threads left. ) use those a good bolt, some red locktite, and a 6" rad hose clamp. ( screw type) so no matter what, that shaZam! wont come apart again, UNTIL i decide it does

well no matter which method used, the aforementioned hose clamp will be employed. the ones we get around here do NOT break easily.

heres a pic of the mount. sans threads. thinking pack some jb weld inside the hole, then smear it on the bolt. and use the last two threads on case. ive got one chance to repair this. if it fails again, odds are it will destroy it. im surprised i got away wiht really no damage.
in this pic, ive got 2mm to inside, and 2mm to outside. 20mm roughly top and bottom. idk how much of the 2mm i can give up. really maybe more. its less than a quarter inch.

LMFAO ohhh the irony. just noticed the prominent "made in china" on the bike. the bike is built like a tank. the engine idk if aluminum. or some type of chinese potmetal. definately not cast irony LOL

this is true. i do have the studs that were removed though. so that is no big deal. the hose clamp is a must have methinks. cause that chain is strong as hell. id like to have a backup. aka failsafe on this. cause the thing is NOT fun to carry

going to try and grab one of these soon. or make one. make starts easier. ( raise on stand and pedal. ) but first things first is to fix it and make sure it remains fixed. i will beat the chinese at theor own self invented game. aka afro-ingenuity

no worries on that my friend. it was fine when you shipped it. ( studs were inserted) i think the bolt threads let go during final assy. on the huffy. this is after it had run on the haro. so it had let go/weakened at or during this point. or i messed it up. ( which is within the realm of possibility

did some conversion/figuring. for helicoil. seems the head size of bolts is 10mm. If i am reading right avail. helicoils ar either 4mm ( too small) or 6mm not enough case for this one. i think its 5.5mm. hell if i am right 6mm may work. giving i have roughly 2mm on either side. allowing .7 or so usage and giving mew some wall strength. and some jb weld and strap. and this thing will live on longer than me

6am now its bed time :/ found a 6mm helicoil.

going to measue the width. and see if i have enough room to drill this. conversion tells me 5.5 roughly 4 would be too small. ( next size below 6mm)
