Hi All,

I'm selling the SW-Motech Alu-rack and Givi E450 topcase that came with my bike.  I just didn't like how it looked but it is super handy to have.  All hardware and one key is included.  The case is lightly faded on the top from being outside for a couple of years.

I purchased and installed the rack and case for the PO who was my wife's friend.  She never rode the bike, only putting 300 miles on it in three years and wanted to sell.

Rack new on twistedthrottle.com is $150.00 and the case is $165.00 plus shipping.  The rack fits 2005+ e models and 2004+ f models and mounts in place of the grab bar.

Probably not worth it, but any idea how much shipping to Australia would be? (location: Brisbane, Qld, 4006).

I tried a couple of shipping estimators (FedEx and USPS) with quotes ranging from around $300 to $700.  So, yeah probably not worth it. 

It's probably so expensive because of the size of the case.  If your interested, I would consider selling just the rack.  It looks like I could ship just the rack to Brisbane for about $50 and would part with the rack for $100.

Yeah thought that might be the case. Thanks anyway for looking it up, but I think I'll try and source something a little more locally. Good luck selling it anyway, you shouldn't have too many troubles

I have a GS2008F.  Is this rack a bolt on with no modifications?  I live in Michigan.  Where do you live?

If you mean you have a 2008 GS500F, then yes this rack simply bolts on in place of the grab bar.  Here is a link to installation instructions:

P.S. Please note that the base plate in the pictures was part of the topcase that I sold the other day.  The rack is just the metal part.  Any topcase will simply bolt to the rack.

Had one of these on our 2007GS500F ~ very nice

Suzi has one. I forget the top plate, but I got the top plate with a bag by Bags Connection from Twisted Throttle. That makes Suzi sort of my SUV of bikes, where Junior is my little sports car with his Gimbel solo seat and no carrier.
