Sounds fake. $1300? 297 miles? Garaged?  Willing to negotiate?

Any around here that seem too good to be true never pan out as being real.

Hmm...If the seat is in that bad of shape, what else has been neglected?  $1500 is way over priced.

Only 600 miles.  Still a bit over priced.

297 DOES seem a tad low lol. it takes but an hour or two to change out a gauge cluster. would be sweet if it were true though

Sweet! $1500 asking price. That fugley plastic chain guard is a real downer, though.

Let's see: buy for $1300. Sell clip-ons, Raask rear set, Yoshi exhaust. Replace with stock parts I have and re-sell for $1700. Seems like about a $800-$1000 profit when all done with it.

Put up the 13th. Surprised it is still available!

runs great, i love this bike to death but have to sell it due to school. about 8000 miles.

has a scrape on the gas tank, but is 100% straight..sv650 rearshock, built aftermarket forks, trs yoshimura full exhaust, k&n air filter, rearsets, battery from a speed four, has only one mirror though... the one on the right side dissapeared one day, i'm not sure how... i just came outside and it was gone. tires are great, the blinkers have been taken off the bike, i changed the oil about 500 hundred miles ago.

i'm ready to show this bike any time, and the title is clear, clean, and in my name.

2000 GS500e about 10k miles, clean title in hand, cleaned carburetors with new float needles, float seat, and orings throughout, new battery, new spark plugs, oil change just done full synthetic. Tires have lots of thread. Aurora Suzuki did the 7000 maintenance at 7800 miles which includes valve inspection/adjustment, all fluid check/change etc. No farings to worry about. Always garaged. Great mileage on city or highway.

Hahaha.  That's epic.
Yeah I always thought that add was great. But a lot of trouble to go through for a $700 car. I put my old beat up ZX2 on the street with a $800 sign on it, and had to beat them off with a stick.

Just saw this in my area.  If I wasn't about to have a baby.....I might have had another GS in the garage.

How much would you offer this guy for that bike?  I know the fender melting is caused by hot headers.  Does that just mean loose exhaust gaskets that were run too long?  What else can cause this?  Things to look for when you see this has happened?

great bike

Wow. Just wow. If this doesn't scream SPAMMER, I don't know what does.

This thread is for great deals, not to hawk your bike that's listed for sale already (in both the general and for sale areas). Besides, your gs isn't what I'd consider a great Craigslist find, merely an average one. Sorry to be so blunt.
