Why do people find it necessary to do this.

If you are talking to someone and mention making a phone call, by all means make certain that at the same time you use the accepted phone call gesture, which consists of closing your fist with pinky and thumb extended and held against the side of the head---this is for the benefit of those who can't comprehend the concept of talking on a phone.

When people say....

Not a problem repeatedly

The use of words like wicker, sick, filthy, bad, etc., to mean really good

When people in the USA say "Could care less"... because in the context it is used to makes no sense and the correct term to use is "couldn't care less" as in, I care so little I cannot care any less than I already am. The way the Americans say it, means they could infact care less some more. Fuk people, get it right eh?

When you are standing at a counter (live customer ready so spend money) and the seller dismisses you cause the phone is ringing. You want service, call a business instead of going there in person.

More later...

"Could care less"----Of course means you do care. is a good one, and "at this point in time" ----how about just saying NOW, and "Know what I mean"?  at the end of every sentence-----are they really expecting a yes or no very time they say that? "My Bad" for my mistake, makes you sound like an idiot.

Yeah, when people say "know what I mean?" I tell them "No" and watch them stumble in their verbiage.  :thumb:

I agree 100% ???

The Buddha

Oh I have a good one - when morons on radio refer to military especially in asian countries - but I also have heard it in reference to other countries - as "Hunta" ... OK morons get a clue ... The word on paper is "Junta" and as it may surprise you J in asian languages is said as J in "Jesus" - In eastern europe its said like a Y and in spanish it is said as a H. Get a clue, it just makes me cringe.

Cool.

I had to read that twice to figure out what you were saying Buddha  :thumb:

How about f-n drivers cutting people off in traffic to get to the red light first.  Dammm I feel murderous when people do that.  Like a giant neon sign over them saying 'im a f***in deutschebag!'

This morning it was f--tard slamming the weights at the gym.  'What are you doing?  Does it make you feel better to crash the weights to the floor and have everyone looking at you as in wtf is wrong with you?!'  Just want to icepick soab in the kidney!

Not only slamming the weights as if to say;  Listen to how much noise these really really heavy weights make when they hit the floor, and you know they must be outrageously heavy because of all the stupid grunting and yelling I do while hoisting them,---I am a big and very powerful man and I want to make damned sure everyone is aware of it.

Mister, don't forget "VIN" ( Veh identification number ) number.

What about people who feel they have to slow down to a crawl or stop to make a right turn ( not at a light ) onto a street or into a parking lot, and the people with big rugged SUVs, Hummers, and pickups, that feel they have to stop and creep ever so slowly over every parking lot speed bump-----Guess what A-ss-h-ole, you could do 50 over Freakin moon craters with that monster.

Thanks cbr, it's fun reading all the little things that p iss people off---so far I agree on every single one.

Here is one that probably only happens to me; I go to the grocery store to pick up a few items, the store could be practically empty, I go down the isle and see only one person but he or she is standing directly in front of the item I want---just standing there looking---not moving. I then go to check out and see a line with only one person with very few items, I jump in only to discover the person has coupons, forgot something, and is paying in change------- I watch helplessly as people I saw at the end of the very long lines now in the parking lot loading up their cars.

This just happened to me last night at the grocery store picking up a bottle of wine... one person in the line I chose, and the 5 people in the other line got out the door before I even got on plate because the guy has to pay with exact change and can't count past 4!

I've got a couple things.........ok, I have a lot, but I won't list them all here.  :D

Old people using the self-checkout lanes at the grocery store or people who take a full cart through the self-checkout lane BY THEMSELVES. If you're going to throw a whole grocery cart full of stuff through the self-checkout, please bring someone with you to bag your shaZam!. Otherwise, go stand in the line with the actual cashier. If you're old & can't use a computer, don't even think about using a self-checkout!  :nono:

People who ride around in cages with their feet up on the dashboard or out the window. I have not only seen passengers, but drivers doing it. It makes me want to cut them off & force them to rearend me, just so the airbags will break their shaZam! off.  :icon_twisted:

I'm sure I'll think of some more later...

Grocery Store: People who pay with a check and can't start writing ANYTHING on it until the cashier is done. Come on - start writing your name and the date WHILE things are being rung up.

People who treat their dog like their child and have to take it EVERYWHERE.

Fat women with a false sense of reality that wear spandex 3 sizes too small to the gym - or on the street. Just because spandex WILL stretch that much doesn't mean anyone ever intended you to do it.

Cagers at stoplights that must stop 1 to 2 car lengths behind the car in front of them.

People on the street supposedly in line for the ATM. They stand 15 feet away on the opposite side of the side walk then get upset because I step behind the person using the ATM. Come on - there's a limit to how far away you stand from the person in front of you before you can't be considered being "in line". One arm length should be the limit of how far you can be away from the person in front of you.

Braille on the drive up ATM. Really?

People who say "Have a good one". One what? I confuse them and ask if I can have two - in case I lose one or I want "one" for a friend. Can I have 2 "OK ones" instead of a "good one". Why can't I have an "excellent one"?

News that reports an important scientific breakthrough that is really very old or plain obvious. Seattle times front page: Doctors discover that giving small doses of egg or peanut to those with an allergy will reduce or cure it over time. Huh? Isn't that basic allergy therapy we've been doing for 100 years?

Products that promote their health benefits and in small  print you see "When combined with a healthy diet and exercise". So diet and exercise are  the important thing - because any  product would be healthier if you ate better and exercised.

Now you did it. You opened up my floodgates...now the things that annoy me are flooding in...GRRRRRR!!

Cagers who can't pull up close enough to the drive up ATM and have to put the car in park, unbuckle the seatbelt, open the door, put a foot on the ground and hang through the open window in order to use the ATM. Seriously?! You couldn't get close enough...now you lose your turn. Pull around and try again--after I get done.

Cagers who save a month's worth of banking and do it at the drive up ATM. They need to deposit 12 checks (which they haven't endorsed yet), verify balances in 7 accounts, transfer funds to 6 different accounts, apply for a loan and refinance their mortgage...and all I want to do is get some cash. The ATM should spit out their card after 2 functions and refuse to accept the same card until after another person has used their card.

People who dress their dogs.
[truestory]
This bothers my wife, who can be rather blunt at times, too. My wife was in the checkout line at the pet store, buying some food or something. The man behind her was holding a little dog wearing a sweater. He was also wearing a sweater in the same pattern/color as the dog. My wife turned to him and said, "What makes you think that's OK?" He sputtered a bit and walked away until after my wife checked out.
[/truestory]

People who go out of their way to be politically correct. So you might offend someone. Unless you're a public official or speaking on behalf of an organization, no one really cares.

Cagers who drive in the fast lane going slower than the speed limit regardless what traffic in the slow lane is doing.

Cagers who drive in the fast lane and are passing someone in the slow lane--and are going exactly 1-2 mph faster than the person in the slow lane.

Cagers who drive slow until you attempt to pass them.

This is a great thread for reading at work!    heh heeeh!

Here's another from the gym.  I'll use the double cable machine and set up both handles to do backarms.  Some dude'll creep up, swap one of the handles, change the weight, do ONE set and walk away.  F-n deutschbag, why bother?!

WOW, I can relate to having to deal with all those annoyances, also hate the way over used expressions;  "It is what it is"---What does that explain that isn't already evident, is that supposed to be the answer to something?, and "24/7". -----I also hate when people tell me to smile.

These words:
* Networking - fortunately this is going out of style
* Green - yea, right.
* Proactive - who the hell invented this word?
* Values - as in "I vote for him because he has values"
* Earnings did not meet expectations - they want you to thing times are bad. Hey - if they expected 200% earnings and got 199% then earnings are less than expected
* profits are down - so? They still make a profit, just a little less than before but STILL A PROFIT
* Poses no significant risk - so.... tell me about the insignificant risks. What is your definition  of significant versus not significant? It is not NO RISK, so tell me more, please. (True! I see this on Mountain High yogurt. They state they don't use hormones. I'm sure the drug companies made them add " Hormones pose no significant risk or health hazard...")
* He didn't break any laws - Sure - but what he did was immoral when he "legally" took half a billion and ruined the lives of thousands. But he didn't do anything "illegal" so he gets off scott free.

mister

When people raise both hands when talking to make "quote" signs with two fingers on each hand.

When a cager does something so dumb it would make a pillar of salt look like it could cavort, you beep your horn and they flip the bird. A sorry would be nice asswipe.

On the highway, someone will pass you in the other lane, move in front of you, then slow down so you either need to slow or go past them WTF?

TV screens in the rear of front seats so kids can watch while the adult is driving. Um... so.... drop the kid at day care, pick up in TV car, get home and plonk kid on front of TV. Hmmm, who is raising this child.... daycare and TV. How about.... no fukking tv in the car and talk to the child, play eye spy games or math games with plate numbers or word games with plate letters?

Mister, the beloved two handed four fingered quote sign is rendered invalid unless you utter the words "Quote -- Unquote" while executing it.---- Oh, and you are also required to wiggle the fingers to simulate it actually being applied to either side of the quote as you speak.

I totally agree with your assessment of the prevailing -- All TV all the time - ( which includes video games ) child parent relationship substitute dilemma in this day and age.
