ok so i was pushing the pistons back in for new pads on the caliper with the help of a clamp and in my twisting I believe this little guy popped out:



Im not sure where it came from, I looked at the exploded view on bikebandit of the caliper with no luck.

help me please.

On top of the valve cover, inside the breather cover that connects to the air box.

never mind, I'm an idiot, it is the brillow pad on the breather apparatus on the valve cover
