I have a number of parts from a 1999 gs500 and some from a 1989gs500. The list is as follows,

-rear swingarm with shock, linkages, rear brake and brake actuator
- Front wheel with rotor
- Rear wheel with rotor
- Front caliper
- Transmission internals
- Rectifier
- Igniter Unit
- Cylinder head cover X2
- Starter
- Cam shaft chain guides
- Signal generator and cover
- Right hand crank case cover
- Left hand Crank case cover
- Stator and cover
- Entire clutch assembly ( Plates, basket, springs)- Don't know how much wear
- Front Fender (not painted)
- Handle bars and controls
- upper and lower Tripple trees
- Both rear fairings ( left has a crack)
- Front forks (1 good, 1 for parts)
- Clymer manual 1989-1996 GS500 Twins ( missing front page and back few pages)

I haven't tested all the electrical units

The forks are they for the 99 and are the tubes bent? How much?

The forks are from the 99 model and both are straight, the only thing wrong with one of them is that the lower slider bushing has some of the teflon coating coming off and would require replacement. For the pair I would be willing to sell them for $80.

What is the teflon stuff you are talking about?

Also would you be willin to just sale one of the tubes? I just really need one because one is slightly bent, but it still compresses. Two straight ones are better always.

There is a small slider on the bottom of the fork made from teflon, In the manual they say if over a certain percentage is worn off it needs replacement and it is around that point, I'm guessing it would only cost a few dollars but still needs replacement to ensure the fork doesn't leak. I would be willing to sell only one fork but would be asking $50 for it.

How much for both? Which side has the messed up teflon, the side that holds the caliper or the speedo side?
