Whoo hoo, jetswing's bike a 95 with 10K and a propensity to spit the end caps of the valve cover out so he started to part it out .
Anyway ... its been in boxes since 2005 in my hands, dunno how much earlier jetswings split it ... but it came home in boxes and the only parts that belong together on it are the frame and motor, and the motor was pulled from the frame and powdercoated so nothing in this bike was left untouched ...
Anyway, random wiring harnesses, FE, rear ends, wheels, seat, side covers, 01-02 carbs kat FE kat grips, kat everything Front related ...

Anyway it ran very very shittily last week ... traced to a bad cracked coil ...

Coils were swapped from my stash ... and voila ... runs like a top ...

Cool.

Awesome! I always wondered if you had a GS or just an encyclopedic knowledge. Any chance you've got a spare cam chain tensioner?

Well even after this bike I have had about a dozen come and go ... even the one last year I got trading virago 1100 to someone on here who had chewed up threads on the crank holding the rotor.

Anyway this is the first one I did a full on tear down and put back together on. A frame off resto if you can call it that.

Cool.

I think I found one that is good. Screw it in and it springs back out. Seems to be what they are supposed to do.
