yes there are. but its not cool to bash anything OTHER than HD. according to the gstwin gods. to be frank, i had more problems out of my gs versus my sportster. ( before and after the supercharger add-on) my sportie looked like this:

the super went /was driven by hte cam gearing underthis cover. wasnt difficult at all. also with it under warranty. this being a BIG NO NO, could be removed in 45 minutes and restored to stock. my gs gave me more problems than hte sportie did. only problem sportie had was a malfuncioning bank angle switch. its a wonder what a paperclip can do to solve that

Before this gets out of control. I'm being sarcastic. While Harley's don't appeal to me. I couldn't let this lovely video go without some GStwin love.

Dude grow up, you're so 90's ...

Of late there are Idiots riding stretched and slammed sport bikes more than Harley's.

Even later than that there are Idiots who take a perfectly good bike ... remove 80% of the useful and failure proof parts it has, paint it black put ape hangers on it and call it a chopper/bobber and try to sell it for 3 X its street value ...

Yes its one of those questions like "how many feminists does it take to screw in a light bulb" type questions ... Its like 1 feminist screws in the light bulb, then one to say the bulb has violated the socket, and 10 to wish she was the bulb and 20 to wish she was the socket and 30 to think about what sorta vibrator can be run out of that socket ... and when you're done with all that ... no one knew the bulb was changed in the first place ...

Yea far fetched ... but in this metaphor, the feminist screwing in the light bulb is the harley ... and the rest are the other Idiots ... there is so much noise that no one can see the bright new light bulb ...

Cool.

...my gs gave me more problems than the sportie did. only problem sportie had was a malfunctioning bank angle switch.

Based on my current stable I feel qualified to say. . .
The Harley: Very few problems.
The GS500: Absolutely no problems.
The DL1000: An ongoing challenge of all my mechanical skills, my bank account, and courage.
(courage that if I ride 150 miles out, I can make it 150 miles back without calling for a trailer).

The point; my GS is so reliable it's almost boring.
BTW: Nice sportie, Yama.

The EDIT: True, people with poor riding skills ride all brands of motorcycles, but I must admit, it is most enjoyable to see Harley riders dump their bike more so than any other brand of biker.

that bike was a representation of mine. same color/badging etc. IDENTICAL  to the one i had. only prob i had was that GODforsaken bank angle switch. a quick disable took care of that. ( amazing what a paperclip can do lol. i did love my gs' as well. really have no beef with any boke or its rider. if theyre on two wheels, hey its good to me

Anyone that says Harley's are the best bikes in the world is obviously a person who wasn't gifted with a functioning brain. They are pure shaZam! and a scourge on our planet that needs to be eradicated
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Fuk-in-ay mate, seems like you have been abused by a Harley dealer as a child.  >:(
Lots of Harleys in my family, Road King, Fat Boy, Soprtie, etc...

But I myself do prefer a Jap bike for too many reasons to list here.
One negative issue for me is that Harleys need a paved road at all times and I always seem to end up in the gravel/dirt at some point in my travels.
My XL1200C has forward controls and a rather excessive rake which looks cool but renders the bike useless in the soft stuff.

So yeah, with a DL1000 a GS500 (and a GSX1250 in my immediate future), my Harley just sits while the Suzuki's run & run & run.
Just sayin'
