hi folks,

just got back from vacation. havent got all the parts i need yet, but while pondering my rejetting strategy, and learning more about em, I came up with the following thought:

Sometimes, people report various issues that happen "over 6k".
Reading the description about pilot/mid/main jets, I was wondering if, on a "new carb" bike, this can often be indicative of things happening specifically when the main jet finally kicks in?

It's the transition from lean jetting between 5.5 and 6k rpm's that trips up the carburetion.

Problems over 6k, with properly set up carbs, are more likely to be the valves.  Or, an air leak somewhere.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
