I'll trade it straight away for another Beemer

No one in my family has a Harley.  Both uncles have Indians, REAL Indians....god i would love one!  Dad has a 1500 Vaulcan, Cuz has....well my cuz goes through so many bikes its hard to keep up.  I think hes on a GSXR750 right now.

But would never buy a Harley, Over priced and the dealers are shaZam!.  they are as bad a used car sales men.

wish indian was still made. i know they went out of business a while back. then came back under new ownership. one thing about HD i did love was that i could have changed my 883c to a 1340 just by changing cylinders and pistons. ( and heads too if i wanted to do it right. but it would run on the 883 heads)

yeah, they came back.  Not sure who but all i have herd is that they took the Indian name and slapped it on some POS and charged out the ass.  No wait, that sounds like HD.  LOL.  But really, the "new" indians are shaZam!

using hd engines or hd style engines. what i do like about them, is if i have to replace the upper end, or the transmission, dont have to remove the engine. it can be done on the bike. the trans has to come out, and the derby cover etc.  but the only time one has to split the cases is to overhaul the lower end

I'd take an F800r over the FZ6 anyday, as far as bike goes - BUT - not for the money. Bring money into it and I'd chose the FZ6 instead - if I had to chose between those two bikes only.

I understand that Labor is a massive added cost to anything. So that an item produced in China has Much less labor cost than the same bike made in Australia. That being the case, and seeing as BMW is using other countries like India to make stuff and keep costs down, why do they charge so much?

Answer: Cause they can.

massage himself where? errm nvm i dont wanna know. i had an old bmw with 276k  on the odo. then gave that to my aunt, and bought my harley along wiht my gs, that bmw was pretty nicely running. no heated grips, seat or anything. no need for it. if i need a warm ass, all i needed was a girlfriend

thats some interesting info Yama!! ... so basically what you mean is any BMW bike is suitable for an Auntie!! ..
