- Ads offering to stop your underarm sweat by, oh I don't know, cauterizing the pores closed or something. WTF, we sweat for a reason, live with it, do NOT clog up one of your body's channels of elimination.

- People walking on the street with earbuds in. Why hamper one of your survival senses? Then, you see them step of the footpath to cross a side street without ever checking to see if a car is turning. I've seen so many near misses cause of this it's not funny.

Michael
was someone killed this year walking on railroad tracks,  = splat plent of near misses as well. or they walk looking down. either jamming the ipod or texting.

How about the ads that just don't load so you can't ever get to the video?

Joggers that like to go the wrong way on bike and rollerblade paths then complain because you, on roller blades, ran into them because they were running on the wrong side the wrong direction. This is America - keep to the right.

Actually, pedestrians should travel against the flow of traffic when a sidewalk is unavailable. See RCW 46.61.250.  :police:

This is correct on a street where the primary mode of transportation is motorized vehicular traffic. Adidas is talking about a pedestrian path for non-motorized modes of transportation (i.e., walking, jogging, running, biking, rollerblading, etc.), often converted from a no longer used former railroad spur, or in a park/nature preserve.

Related to this, my wife & I were on Mackinac Island a couple weeks ago. The unique feature of the Island is that the only motorized vehicles are an ambulance & a fire truck, aside from snowmobiles used by the few year-round residents. All other traffic is bicycle, horse & foot. The main road is considered a state highway (M-185) as it goes around the entire island, but contains no motor vehicles. Horses & push bikes still keep to the right, and I would assume that pedestrians should still walk opposing traffic if there's not a sidewalk--especially considering it's a state highway. Apparently, we were wrong because some lady stopped on her bike to yell at us for walking against traffic. It was all I could do not to knock her ass off her push bike and tell her to MYOB. :bs:

Correctamundo.

The jogging sidewalk next to the regular on along the Alki beach. Jogger runs into me - "WTF? Don't you know joggers like to go against the flow? " And I say"It is America - keep to the right. You are on feet . I am on wheels. You can get out of my way and you are on the wrong side anyway".

Now they have added a strip down the middle with arrows indicating direction: i.e. keep to the right. I hope that helps.

Ah, I missed the path bit.

OT: The air filter being located inside the backbone of the XV535 Virago. That bike only makes it about 80 miles before hitting reserve on account of the small underseat tank, and that super wide backbone makes finding a tank that looks right and has a wide enough tunnel a pain in the hind end. Seriously contemplating buying some DOM tubing and building a custom frame instead.

Pandora radio that stops and asks 'U still there bro?'
Pandora radio that randomly picks salsa polka. I said rock and roll dammit!
Pandora radio that only lets me skip a few songs and then informs me that licensing agreements say that I must listen continuously now.

In the case of Pandora, garbage in = garbage out. I have never once had a salsa polka song show up if I select an artist or group of artists in a specific genre. Are you sure someone didn't screw with your preferences/playlist?   In my office, an unlocked PC is an invitation to be pranked.

Meat eaters who try to proclaim their niceness by saying the animals they are eating was killed humanely.

Um, excuse me, it was killed. There is nothing humane about killing.  :icon_rolleyes:

Thank you Huff. My point being, they are trying to say how Caring they are to animals in the way they Kill them. If they Cared as claimed, then Killing them is not an option.

Better to "keep it real" and just kill the animal without the "I care for animals" mantra. There is more honor in the truth.

On the flip side, vegans who are fanatic in their approach Preaching to people who eat meat about how Cruel the animals is treated before it ends up on the table.

Message to both sides... you will not turn the meat eaters into vegans and the vegans will not suddenly eat meat - so - let them be and just do what you think is right for you without trying to justify or persuade others to your cause.

:bs: clarified. Thanks, killing is always killing but there is a way it can be done "more humanely" than the pneumatic gun to the head followed by being slowly bled. But I have to agree, those that say "this [whatever meat here] had a easy life and was happy to give it up to feed my lazy ass" are every bit as bad as the "this salad is organic, it doesn't matter that it was picked by illegal labor after being doused with water to wash off all the chemicals ". I lower the flag
