OK -
Let's have a good turn out for Backfire Moto this Wednesday. I'll be there  around  5:30

Probably mt last one for the season for 2 reasons:
1. Might be last god 3rd Wed. for a long time
2. Bowling season: my league is on Wednesdays. I will miss bowling this week to be at Back Fire Moto

Hope to see as many of you as possible. I plan to ride Junior with his new old original fairing.

lookin forward to pics  finally got the red locktite for motohuffy :thumb:. If that one is back lmk. if its there and its owner is nearby, can you find out what engine it uses? ( or what kind of speed it can get etc. ) not asking for you to go out of your way, but if you and its owner happen to be in same area @ same time

WOW! There were some new things that were really cool.

(FYI: 3rd Wednesday of the month at 17th Ave NW and Leary. Next one is Oct 17th)

This event is sooooooo Seattle: everything from a piece of crap to a $50,000 beauty and we all get along and enjoy every one's bike. It can't get any better than this. Micro breweries are open late so FRESH BEER!

No one puts down anything. While we may go "WTF? What were they thinking?" It is THEIR bike and they can make whatever they want. We admire them for their ingenuity and creativity. Seattle is a bit if a grunge and artist community so......?

So cool and so much fun!

I have to admit - there was a cool old junker of a something that I think Yama would just drool over. Everyone marveled at its simplicity of the absolute minimum for a motorcycle. Here it is:

Other pictures: some of these belong in the world's ugliest bike thread. Others are really nice and some ultra cool - a V-8? Stretched Honda Ruckus? WTF?

V-8?

I LOVE the VFR500!

What is this? Where do you sit?

Here's Junior! He will be on display at the Seattle International Motorcycle Show in December. I'll be sure there is recognition for gstwins,.com!  :woohoo:

Yippie Eye Yea! Heee Haw!

Tail and balls!

I understand this is a new moped that Honda is selling?

I have seen a  90's Honda NS50 before.  I remember it was a 6 speed two stroke that was liquid cooled... Don't know if the stats are the same on the bike in the pic, but still very cool.  The guy that owned the one I saw raced mopeds, and he said that his NS50 was his fastest 50 he owned.

Black Sunshine would be a hit!
There were a few cool side cars. The USSR red one was there again. Pix are in the thread for last months event.

Have looked these other, but didn't have time to post.. Great photos as always adidas! Some really killer 2 wheelers for sure.

That first ped is a Puch Cobra. really cool, have always liked the look of wheel covers.

the honda ns is gnarly just stumbled across this photo the other day:

notice the "gin & tonic special" forks..

I just looked and it appears the seat is a skate board.

steezin_and_wheezin

Yeah that's pretty common in mopeds. LOTS of hipsters.. Here's another Puch with a skate deck for a seat. Low bars with a solid seat on moped suspension(or lack thereof)? Talk about a nut buster!!
