Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that today I sold my 1991 GS500.  I had a blast with it and hope to buy another one in a couple years when I have the money, maybe even the same one since I sold it to a friend here at school.  The good news is I sold it for what I paid for it 3 years ago ($1250) and it will be around locally next year and the buyer said he'd let me have "visitation rights" and ride it every once in a while.  Thanks everyone for all the help over the years, and hopefully I'll be back before too long!  I'd always thought about upgrading to an SV650 or some sort of 600, but I just can't picture a better "bang for the buck" motorcycle than the GS500.

Sorry for your lose!  Stick around at least, we could also use some extra folks.  I hope you told the new owner about this site.  But, my guess is you will move to bigger bike. The sv is a nice choice if I might add.
