Costs $68.75.  A few $'s more if you select a special background image like lighthouses, parks, etc. That extra goes to support those causes.

For any WA riders, here are some choice ones still available as of today:
GS500F
GS500E
GSTWIN  (limited to 6 characters for bikes, 7 for cars)
GM51B (confuse people - that's the model number in Europe)
GM51A (The legal model in the USA - it is on your VIN)
500CC

Anyone need any technology and compliance auditors?

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

expensive much- can you do a yearly plate like us?

slipperymongoose

Nope, but you can do a 3 or 2 letter and 3 or 2 number combo for about 500 and again your for life. You can get all different layouts and style, you can even get a 'euro' style. But even more crazy is the 'classic' plates. The first plate in our state Q1 just those 2 letters owned by Australia's richest hairdresser, even though he doesn't want to sell them your looking at over a million. That's right over a million dollars.

Sounds like I need to start a black market business for license plates in Oz.

I've got personalised plates on my bikes.  I like them because the colour scheme I chose makes the plates blend into the bike better.  Paid just under $500 each for them, three letters two numbers on one, two numbers, three letters on the other.

Back to the topic at hand, what did I do for  my bike today?

As a result of teaching my wife to ride (first lesson today), I replaced the brake lever she bent dropping the bike the second time.  I told her it was okay and was actually prepared for it having 2 levers in the recovery bag along with the necessary tools to install it.  Funny thing was she pinned herself down with the second drop.  Here's some video of it, which was quite accidental, I forgot the camera was on.  In fairness, she did get the bike going and there is video of her actually riding in a straight(ish) line.  She still laughs when she sees the video and is keen to try again:

Get hot picking that bike up over and over? :D

Looks like shes a little too short to have both feet, even toes on the ground. My MSF course had us basically walk the bike using only the clutch and no throttle, slowly working the speed up until we were crossing the parking lot in only a few steps.

Did the stock exhaust/filter re-jet. Seems it had 40 pilot jets in it already but did not have the 125 mains. Did one washer and 3 turns out on the mixture screws. Still have a slight idle hang when dropping back down to idle. The choke cable needs to be changed as well. I dropped some dry lube in it while it was apart and it still won't return when I shut it off.

Yeah she cannot touch the ground properly.  She's going to try again and if she's still keen, we will buy her a more suitable bike.

Avoid the stress, family fighting and damage to your bike: sign her up for a class. Their bikes are meant to be dropped. She will learn a lot by taking a motorcycle safety class.

Here in the states (most states) it also qualifies you for your license and a discount on insurance.

Might want to check out bulldog trimming at Beaudesert http://www.bulldogtrimming.com/. They did a nice seat mod for a very short lady I know so she could ride a CB400.
