What is everyone using to clean their rims? I have black rims so they hide dirt pretty well. But, they start to look dull after a few days of riding. I've been using ICE detail spray because it dries without residue. Is there something better out there I should be using that won't hurt the black finish and won't make my tires look "wet"?

a little dihydrogen monoxide on a cloth will do wonders when you wipe it over the wheel rim.  it is relatively cheap and easy to get.  be careful though it can be deadly in solid, liquid and gaseous forms, use it carefully.  here's some information:

Why didn't I think of that.
Get hit in the head with the solid form and it kills
Try to breath the liquid form and it kills
The hot gas form can burn you
Cool gas form can blind you

Hundreds of people die every year because of that stuff. Be careful!

Other than DHMO, try spraying some WD40 onto a rag than wipe down rims.

on a serious note though, I will use any of the following.  Mineral turps on a rag, diesel on a rag or as previously stated DHMO.

I use either simple green or wd40 and a rag or brush.  As long as you keep in mind that it's impossible to do without work you'll be good.

After I get my wheels nice and clean, I wax them and keep them waxed.  I only have to really work hard to do a cleaning once.

I clean my chain every 500 miles...with kerosene...I always use a little bit on a rag or shop towel and do the rims.....then wipe with a dry cloth...looks nice!

I usually wash the bike once a week or every two weeks...the "car wash" soap in a  bucket of water and a car wash mitt...takes off the grime too.

WD 40 and kerosene are chemically similar...so WD is good too....just wipe really dry...

Kerosene works wonders on getting grime off, but it leaves a residue. I used it on my chain and my white wheels when I got the bike. Worked wonders.

I havta go with WD40 [Stoddard Solvent] cleans anything on the underside of a bike, even road tar 

I use chain degreaser on my wheels. Mainly the back wheel. Works great for me, and I have tonka truck yellow wheels so you can see every spec of dirt on them things!

WD40 definately sounds cheaper... I may have to give that a shot

You can buy a gallon of kerosene for the price of a 12 oz WD 40

Soap and water seems to work well on my black rims...
