So I bought these from Safebak the other day and they came in. Being Im working on another bike and it needed new bars, I took my OEMs off mine to use on it and used these new clip on bars on mine.

Could not have been easier to go on. Just loosen the top and bottom triple and lower the front end enough to fit over the tubes. The bars did NOT have holes drilled in them for the controls but that was easy too being they are made of aluminum. Ive got tot see if I need to add bar weights or not still.

Also, Im going to put my spare top triple on the milling machine and mill down the bar OEM bar clamps and then powder coat the top. No need for them anymore.

His bike has lowering links, so in this case, it may just return closer to stock angle (if this is same bike as his sig... But I'm a lil lost on what bike is what right now, haha)

Does anything hit the tank on full lock turn left or right with these clip ons?

Yeah I see now also I need a shorter kickstand. The bars do not hit the tank. I put the on the tube, the turned the wheel to each side and measured and matched the distance from tank to the bars and then locked them down in place. At first, I didn't think I would like lowering the front end to put them on but it worked out great. I certainly did not want to put them under the top triple and have them even lower.

It's the same bike as in my signature btw.

I thought about this solution...but went with suburban machinery type 2.....just about same riding position achieved...but without mucking up the front end.....

BTW.....I love the riding position....it is not extreme, but just right....no extra load on hands or wrists....actually easy to lean belly on tank for upper body support...

Yep, on my ride earlier tonight I was laid forward and comfortable on the tank.

I used to have those ebay clip-ons. I really liked them.
I got an extra top plate and cut the handle bar mounting brackets off.
Looks much better, just leaves a few small holes.
After it's flat, some have covered the top plate with fake carbon fiber, or some other material.

Just wondering how much those clip ons raise the fork tubes in the triples.  Stock GS has about 1" between the wiper lip and the lower triple at full compression. Looks like you would hit if you bottomed the front suspension, probably not a problem for average weight rider with stiffer Progressive or other front springs.

I think it's about and 1 3/8"
I never had a poblem,
Average weight, with springs and emulators.

If you cut off the ends of the top plate, you can stick to around an inch of drop.
