Join the Brissie Rider's Club forum, there was a discussion recently about Shark leathers, mixed bag of responses. overall was do not buy them.

http://forum.brissyridersclub.org

Thanks for the heads up. Might just hold off and go for some expensive ones...what's so great about Ricondi though guys? To be honest I haven't heard of them...

If I had the $1000 to splash out on leathers, I like the look of the Alpinestars ones! (and they have a good rep as far as I know...)

The gear is pretty good, the bloke is friendly and he helps out ob members, plus his gear is used in australian super bike aaaand world superbike, you'll find alpinestars is a bit more than a grand
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Not online haha American exchange rate provides some good buys online....of course I'd have to go try them on here first but a grand buys a lot more from overseas! Including the ridiculous postage charges....

Just checked out the Ricondi suit - looks nice but I don't see a women's suit! I don't think a lot of companies do leather 1pc suits for the ladies :(

If ya give him a call im sure something can be sorted. Yeah only the big expensive brands do women's specialty suits, but I thought chicks like wearing guy clothes. You girls are always stealing our shirts

Hahaha I have been known to steal guys shirts every now and then but there's a difference between looking cute in a guy's shirt and just looking like you have the body of a guy :|

Back to earlier brief discussion on suits, ended up picking up a nice looking 2pc Alpinestars suit online from America for a grand total of ~$450 (half price over there, plus benefit of exchange rate, even with $60 shipping charge). So keen for it to arrive :D

Bit scared about the fit...I tried to measure myself as best I could but I probably should have gone into a bike shop and tried a similar one on...oh well, should make my money back easy if I sell it here...

I went n found a pair of leather pants and hi side at acacia ridge n yeah should be good. I tried a pair of ricondi ones and they were too tight in the legs and too loose for my waist/arse. Go figure.
