it got 378 miles in year 1 with oil change at end of season, sat until 2012 changed oil then put the rest of the miles and just had oil change again about 100 miles ago when I switched to synthetic Ams oil

His profile says Canton, MI.
(I wish everyone had their location in their profile)

Apparently, your priority is higher on "make money", than "make room"

Cant give it away though.

F model, low miles, gear included? Sounds like a good deal to me.

I wont give mine away either. You get what you pay for.

He has a fair price. It would sell fast at that price in Seattle.

This FOR SALE forum should be just that. If you have a problem with someone's price, send  them a polite PM.

I hate to advertise here anymore because a FOR SALE thread gets side tracked into all kinds of bickering.

Realistically - if an item doesn't sell, the seller will realize that and lower the price. If you want it then you can post an offer.

Otherwise, leave the selling threads to the seller and potential buyers. All this stuff scares people away from selling. I know it has discouraged me from selling extra parts. My dumpster doesn't complain at all when I fill it with GS500 parts I don't need and don't feel like getting into arguments over prices and whatever on this board.

...

I didnt really have a 'problem' with the price. I just felt a bit bothered by the attitude of,

"Come on guys need to make some room "  in his nudge to the thread.

If he's in such a hurry, he should lower the price, that's all I'm sayin.
I'm out

Usually "OFFERS" means that someone is willing to deal, and usually lower the price.

To the seller, I think you'd be a little hard pressed to move a like-new bike on a forum of GS owners.  Most are probably looking for parts or projects, not something like what you're offering.  If you can't sell it locally by advertising, maybe try a forum for a different bike.  See if there are any 250 ninja/rebel forums or something like that around where someone might be looking to move up.
