Title says it all. Anytime I try to enlarge a pic weedahoe posted my tapatalk app crashes. I do not have this problem with anyone else. Perhaps it is his file hosting location or method?

For some reason computers and phones don't seem to like skydrive when you view it in anything but full web view.

The same thing happens to me using Tapatalk, mostly on iPad. I usually just curse weedahoe and move on.

I would be willing to bet that skydrive works fine for windows 8 phones...

You talking about embedded images or links to skydrive? Links work fine for me on Android. Going to see of I can find any embedded images.

Edit:  They work fine for me.

I guess if you use a crippled ware enabled device to surf the internet you get this happening.

Is it that the app itself is crashing or are you having issues with something else?

If it is the app, please post the version you have and let me see what I can find out.

I myself do not use Tapatalk. I use Dolphin Browser for all my surfing including forums

I don't have any issues with viewing them on my iphone ... but I almost always view in full browser...

I don't have issues on my iPhone, just on my iPad. But, on the iPad, Tapatalk crashes if I attempt to enlarge a weedahoe pic (some others, too, IIRC, but I can't think of whose offhand). If I open it in a browser on my iPad, there are no problems. I allow crash reports to be sent to the Tapatalk developers when it occurs, because I figure it has more to do with their product than weed's pictures.

Not trying to dogpile on you, Weedahoe. But, it always happens with your pics and only occasionally with pics others post. As I said, it's most likely a Tapatalk issue, so I'll wait for them to address it and/or address further complaints to them directly.    Tapatalk has a strange issue with another forum I participate on, so I'm quite certain it's something Tapatalk isn't doing correctly related to the iPad.

I didn't make the app so i know it's not against me.... LoL

I can check and see if another newer version is available but I've personal never liked any app like it.

its the tapatalk plugin on this forum thats causing it. I am running 3.0.1 currently, they updated to 3.2.1, so I'll take the server down this evening and update it.

Most likely some applications can't take the image that big - runs out of memory to process it.

Weed makes HUGE pictures! Reduce them to half size.

This is just too big:  3,264px × 1,840px (scaled to 600px × 338px)

and big file size: 1,195.12 KB (1,223,800 bytes)

.....and I never use tapatalk so never have a problem.

updated tapatalk and i sped up the site with some optimization.

Only thing is, my phone now says "Failed to connect to forum, check with administrator if the problem persists"
I can still get on other forums though.
