Would three different relays work? maine to FL and the west side and from side to side? until we get a good amount of people?

I'd say the more the merrier.

The baton must be carried by a GS at all times during the relay.

Another thought is that i travel from OR - WA - MT alot, next summer i will drive from OR / WA to MT (i will be bringing the bike as well) and can travel around from there if need be (though a good chunk would be in a vehicle unfortunately so i would prefer not to break the bike chain)

Dry_Humor, I like the Sportbike drawing that you made. I think it should be the logo for the relay. Would you have any problems sending me the image file?

i actually have a bit of a draft for a banner, i just have to scan it in then work on it in the computer to make it look presentable.

i'll work on it then be sure to post it soon. i've been busy drawing my fiancee's christmas presents lately.

I can travel a ways to get the baton to the first GSTwinner. Where it goes from there is the beauty of the adventure!
