Help removing MPH gauge from cluster

So it seems the MPH Gauge can't come out unless you take off the trip dial reset. How does one go about doing that without breaking it?

Take a flashlight and look at the knob on the side of the gauge.  There is a little screw holding it on.  Remove the screw, and the knob will come off.

Should be easy from there.
