I noticed around my headlights that i've got an extra set of wires.

I don't know what it belongs to. Everything on the intrument panel works. headlight (low and hi), horn, signals. all of it.

I'm not sure what they belong to.

The only thing i can think of is parking lights. I think my signals are aftermarket and maybe that's where these wires belong?

Question is: does anyone know if those wires belong to something other than parking lights?

if so, any recommendations on cool-ish affordable signal/parking light combos?

You do not have a front parking light on your model. You do have a rear parking light in the rear tail light.
The brown parking light wires go nowhere. On European bikes and 2004+ models there is a front parking light in the headlight.

This was a photo game photo so ignore the adidas headphones. You can see the parking light as a small light in  the lower center of the headlight. this is a European headlight I used. The wiring is there but not used on US models until 2004.

The only thing the parking light is good for is draining your battery. Don't ask me how I know!

well, that's a shame. is the battery different on the european models?

i wonder if i could use it for something. or should i just not do that?
