Can someone tell me if the tank from a 1993 GS500 will fit a 1990. There are 3 different part numbers for fuel tanks. I looked at a picture of the underside of a 93's and it's different looking, but will it fit. Are the fuel caps all interchangeable too

I do know that the tank from a '96 will fit a '91.  Bolts right up.  I did this last week on a bike I am getting ready to bring home(the original tank leaks), and I am trying to lalk the guy out of the leaking tank too(they aren't that hard to fix).

As far as I know, the tanks are interchangable for every year up till 2002

2001 was the first model year with the new tank.  All earlier tanks should fit '89-'00.
