I know that bike! It's had, I think, 2 owners since being rebuilt. The guy that rebuilt it had a shop in atlanta (on hollywood dr if my memory serves correct) and posted it a few times (first time it was 1.4k, sold around the time it was at 1.2k or so). Wish I had saved the original ad, it was more detailed about the bike. Some parts aren't stock iirc.

What stopped me back then was the lack of tach: it would've been my first non-scooter bike. Ended up snagging one near his area that was in better condition.

In other words, I turned this bike into a crappy, embarrassing POS which I park on my front lawn (i.e. weeds) next to the couch and old car seat but now I want something that really does run well, isn't deafening loud and keeps me from looking like a red-neck squid.

I feel sorry for a bike that is abused like that.

hahah funny you'd post a scooter ad now.. I'm actually going to check out a few more moped projects/parts bikes tonight. Got a pair of honda pa50 hobbits and a puch maxi lined up for $250 total. Hoping to haggle a few more bucks off the asking price. I'll update later tonight
