I have never even cleaned a carburetor before, but I am up for the challenge.

Since my bike won't start without choke, and she takes a few minutes before she will run without the choke, I am going to clean and rejet.

Can you guys recommend some sizes and explain a little about knowing to go bigger or smaller?

Bike: 2005 F
Plugs: NGK Iridium's
Air Filter: K&N Drop in w/ restrictor (If I go bigger, I can take this off right?)
Exahust: Stock (For Now)

Basically, the bigger the jet, the more fuel it provides at certain opening of the butterfly.

You can see my mods in my sig and my jet sizes. I am two turns out and no washers under the needle.

Of, if you go to big and dont/cant get enough air in, through the carb to mix with it and back out the exh, you will be too rich.

That's the thing though. I don't know where to start. Is it a guess and check kind've thing until you're "perfect"?

Hm, what do washers have to do with the needle, and what exactly is the carburetor needle?
