Hey guys, so I know it's probably a long shot, but if anyone has both engine covers (emblems excluded) in good shape I'd like to get a set. At first it was just the right side cover, but after the incident today, now I'm looking a left side cover.

I'm sure theres gotta be someone parting out an engine with good sides.

I have several sets. They are in a thread in the classifieds with pics. I'm on my mobile so can't look up the thread right now

Silver, right side I just need the smaller cover, left side I'm looking for the whole piece.

Here's what I have. Both are really good. There is a good stator in it. I'll leave it in since its there and I have a box of stators so its not like I need another one.

chuck it in a flat rate box wont cost you hardly nothing that way

Buy new. There are good deals out there. You'll spend $14 each for the round logos. maybe someone has a billet aluminum timing cover. I have no spares in that area.

I have ordered from this place quite a few times. They're like an amazon. You will get your parts from whatever supplier on their list has it in stock. Always worked for me. That makes it possible to order rare, out of stock parts.

I actually found new OEM 1989 bars for the 89 clip-ons! I don't know if they are still available as on the last order only one side was available and then the other side became unavailable. But hey - no one else except a place in France had them. So that's why I have brand new bars for 89 clip-on sets and Euro type-1 sets.

Your other option is take a set and repaint them. Unfortunately, no one really knows the color code for the engine.
Any used ones will have scratches and dings at the very least.

Browse ebay. You should find someone parting out a new engine.
