got my hands on a gtr40 or gtr46, got it running just now. but 98 tooth sprocket is worn,  and throttle cable has seen better days ( it hangs) BUT good thing is its got twice the power and DISC brakes.  anyhoo need to find a 98 tooth sprocket, as well as a throttle cable to make it safe.

also need to locate a wheel, ( 4 through bolts on it, one of the mating surfaces is gone. wheel will work as is for now.

reason i ask is 1 im on a budget, and 2 NO goped parts exist on the secondary market here.

the stock wheel on it now one of the bolt holes is broken. so i cant ride it aggressively or to its full potential. for fear of a catastrophic fail. which usually will punch a hole in engine block. but after i pay comcast, going to get this gtr40 up to good condition again

this is the gtr40 i traded my chinese scooter for. rode it around yard ordered a 98 tooth black magic rear drive sprocket for it. may end up playing drunken frogger. but then again, im getting old and am not what i used to be so prolly not. will get another pipe like i had on the gsr25 so i can ruhn this at its full potential. hell got the pipe for 25 last time.
anyhoo here is battlepig reincarnated
it weighs 35lbs rougly wet. and 4.5hp @ 13k rpms.  i think i did well. this time NO ONE will steal the battlepig. ill be damned sure of that

the asshat stole it while i was at work. lived in the damned trailerpark @ bottom of hill. i got even. perhaps a bit illegal. however, i found his truck, and painted with neon orange " warning i am a tweaking thief. guard your proerty aginst me, i am no good"  ( a tweaker = one who uses meth ) going to save up and get hte pipe for this thing. the scooter i traded on a good day would bring maybe 150. these in aprts willbring 5 to 600 running even more. may find a cheap gps tracker to mount on it. or a lojack.  this was hte original battlepig

the ones for a goped trailripper are nearly 75.  this one is 16. made for a mtb bike. ive got teh scooot set up to run w/o a tensioner. but want to rectify that before too long. ( gear life is reduced by not using one. )
