The more I see things the more I think ditching BRC will be a good thing.

I hate when people let their personal/emotional stuff get in the way of other people's lives and fun and work... if you need to vent do so in the appropriate place, but that sort of attitude will (and obviously does) get people hurt.

I've got people telling me I don't ride right now after mentioning my toes touch first on my bike before anything else... sorry guys, I don't ride a crotch rocket, I ride a 31 year old GS with low and forward pegs... I don't have modern brakes so need my toe near the rear brake... meh...

Ahhh this makes sense! I just wanted to have "Sarah" as my forum name but that was taken, which wasn't completely surprising even with the low member number on there, but then "SarahD" was taken too and I figured there might have just been something stopping me...ended up going with my initials, butttt if I could have just my first name TOG I'd like that

Good point - well that's basically what I'm doing at the moment because it's easier and cheaper to get out on a weekend ride then pay for one  I just mean like I don't know if some of my technique is wrong...as much as getting out there riding more is probably helping, no-one is specifically critiquing anything I do so I could be embedding bad riding habbits...

ThatOtherGuy - I looked in the album...wasn't thaaaat gross but then I'm one of those people that frequently ends up on that weird part of YouTube...gross things intrigue me...looks like it's all healing up well though! Those albums we almost like a time lapse of the healing process, very cool.

When they first started doing the dressing I asked them to stop, grabbed my phone and asked for pictures, the surprised look on the residents faces was priceless.

Bloody hell another forum? Yeah ok why not. Reason I Cbf joing brc is cause im here and on ozbikers plus s'up on Facebook, f800riders.org and that satisfies my need to rides etc and good company. I haven't even been on a s'up ride yet so need to pull my finger out. Why not another lol

I tried to consider it this way, I want a forum where I can organise rides, then others that deal specifically with the bikes I ride.  BRC was okay to start with for rides but the feel went south after a few months.  so GSTwins satisfies the GS500 need, will probably move away from the Bandit forum as I do not plan to replace it and SEQR is something I started to replace my BRC requirements.

Also a member of some others, but hardly visit them.
