I have like 3 more prizes for members at least.  They are small prizes so I am looking for ideas for simple, easy do do/judge contests that would last a little less than a week.

Ideas are very welcome.

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

A contest I saw on (i think) nighthawk forums a while back was, "Best single-sintence advice for new riders" The winner was given a pair of new old stock nighthawk grips.

a photochop contest. john or whomever is selected supplies photo, and participants, edit said photo, as long as no porno or bannable items are included.

I've got an idea! ... Actually it's a borrowed contest from a Aussie bike website a few years back.... Sort of a reverse engineered anagram thing... We used bike names/products/related industry/bike sports words

An example... (Really simple one) ...

Heading
Onwards
Never
Doubting
Anything

... (More complex) ...

Heading into the canyon road I smile,
Oblivious of the rat race behind me,
Now I lay into the first corner,
Deep and smooth is my line,
All my troubles fade away.

... (For the advanced wordsmith) ...

Heading out from the sweltering city I smile beneath my helmet,
Oh yes the feeling of freedom lifts my spirit as the wind rushes by,
Nearby are the people in their cramped cages heading into the stress of traffic,
Don't they know this freedom I feel?, can they ever feel the joy of the trip?,
As even they fade from my worries I accelerate up into the lonely hills.

For the sheer joy of seemingly endless corners and dips that are there just for me,
I know deep down the road belongs to all, but I claim this here for myself right now!,
Rolling my balance with the flow of the camber and the twists of the asphalt,
Everything that troubled my mind so short a time before, is swept away in the moment,
Bringing my joy to new heights. I grin as the howl of the machine increases at my touch,
Love is not the feeling here, it is pure LUST. Raw passion for the act I perform,
Angles and pace become my focus as I thrust this cyborg of machine and man deep into the canyon.
Deep and hard I drive into every new corner, gentle and smooth I slide along the straights
Everything negative in my mind has been blasted away by the sheer rapture of this ride.

....

Now, I am not advocating the 'blade here people!! .. For preference we could focus on the mighty Suzuki we ride eh!! ... But I usually find any bike or pro rider or team ... That stirs our passion for this sport we do... That brings out the emotive part of us... Paint a picture with words!!

What say John? ... Obviously I've had a fair bit of practice and familiarity with this format... I'm not trying to brag (too much  ;) ) ... So I'll hold back if this idea is a goer...

I may be a big dopey looking truck driver type ... But I wear my heart on my sleeve a lot and I really do love playing with words to create a smile for others.

I am really keen to see what shining pearls can be dragged from the educated minds that surround us all in this forum.  :thumb:
