Just took delivery of a non running, pretty straight 94 GS500E. 
Am real active on the VTX boards and pretty decent mech but know I will be needing some help on some of the quirks of any new to me non running bike.  Carbs are 1st to tackle and need to know how to stop water from getting into the gas tank.  Looks like the original locking cap has a MAJOR leak.  Have already found the good carb rebuild threads.  Photos in a day or two.
