Cereal!!!! .. (sniff) Luxury!! ... back in my day we would have loved cereal for dinner like you nobs!... but nooooo .. we 'ad to 'ave a rummage around in dumpsters!!... looking for anything left in the pet food tins! ... i remember one christmas was fantastic though .. our Trevor grabbed a can that a large Rat was still inside!.. he slapped a broken plate across the end of the can and we held it there with old roast meat strings ... took it home and straight into the oven!! .. lovely it was!!.. Oh aye.. our whole family had steamed Rat all the way from christmas to new years!! .. the smaller children looked much better after a week of fattening!! .. them were the days....................

Rat on a stick was for camping holidays.... well i say holidays.... really it were for when our dad 'ad the bailiffs after 'im for 'is latest sheep 'borrowing' caper .. we used to find some very clean water rats under the old bridge outside the village limits!! ...  ;)
