Excellent. THe run is the sydney morning herald 1/2 marathon. 22km around the city. Been training for the last few months. This is my first and depending on whether i finish, could also be my last! But the beer and steak at the end will make it all worthwhile! Have a good ride, I was told Macquarie pass is also another great road. Must investigate shortly!

Sounds good let me know about ride this weekend I told my BMW mates they couldn't come with us because they dont have GS500, which got up there noses :lol: told them only GS forum members can go they have to stay home.
They have a BMW forum that they have joined but not enough Aussie members close by too them, that will show them for saying I couldn't go on the BMW members ride with them (not that they went any how) not that I wanted to they just thought it would be fun to tease me about it, what goes around comes around oh god I'm still laughing at them and the look on there faces :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

is that why the meeting point is Procycles? just to rub it in the faces of those snooty BM guys, with their heated handle bars, sticky out cylinder heads and CD stackers, god how I hate them :x

I actually got my bike at Procycles, so it's all good

Ok this weekend is out for me too    The following weekend  30.5.04 sound good for me at the stage.

are your mates members of the BMW touring club of NSW if so you can go on their rides  I know this because a girl from work goes on & she does  not ride a BMW , her other half does. She has been trying to get me to come on the day rides ( come to think about they have a day ride on the 30th )

 I'm thinking about going to Canberra maybe on the 12 or 13 of June ( this will dep on the Weather too ) hey ride is for who ever wants to come .

Also I have been thinking since there are a few of us  now  we should make it "Official" that we are the First "Official GS 500" club here in Australia  what do you guys think?

* Meeting Point: 10:45 Mobil service station, cnr Beecroft Rd & Carlingford Rd, Epping. 11am Departure.
* Lunch at Gosford
* 4pm return to Sydney.

earlier is better, more time to ride, and less traffic. I thought I was going out the night before, but that's next week  

So an early start is good. What time can you make it to Hornsby? I'm 5 minutes away, and own an alarm clock, so how early can you get there?
Anytime after 7am is cool.

I can go hook up with other people for lunch anyway, so that's no problem.

I hope you have a GREAT ride on Sunday, is anybody take any pixs it would great to see  As you know I can't not make this Sunday ride .

I  know you guys have a ride on Sunday , But I thought I would let you know that I'm going to Campbelltown on Sat I'm leaveing Nowra about 8.30am & it will take me about 2.30 hours to get there, maybe we might be able to meet  thats if anybody would to and maybe we could go for a ride to that Pie shop near Moss Vale?.

yep went for the ride excellent day  weather was great  lotsa bikes and good company and a great ride dosnt get any better  (as you can see I had fun )

Glad that the ride on Sunday went well. The weather was superb! Cant wait for next sunday, but Im still cornering like an old moll. How long did it take before you were confident in your bike?? Just doesnt feel secure if you know what I mean.

Anyway following more experienced riders like you lot on Sunday sounds good. Hope the weather holds!
