Hi there!
Nice bike.
I've seen videos of the Pakistani Biker Boyz on Youtube. Amazing stuff they do.
Your GS is too nice to risk doing those stunts.
Welcome to the nut house!
It can get crazy here, but all is in good fun.

Nice color! Looks original, too (unless someone painted it and was thoughtful enough to put back the "slingshot" logo.)

@adidas guy, thanks. and definitely a big :nono: to the biker boyz stuff, they go berserk over here on the road no care for themselves or others. fatalities r pretty high cuz of that. poor honda 125's r taken to the task . PS i also used to own a honda 125 previously

I merged your threads for you and agree, it is a very nice and very clean bike.

Your bike might be an odd one due to your location. It has elements of 2001 and older.

Tank and tail are 89-2000 model. They look original but not a color/decal style I have seen before.
Wheels: Are they black? If so, that's 2004+. 2001-2002 were silver rims (at least where I've seen).
Frame: Appears to be painted. As do the lower fork tubes. Dark silver? If original, not a color I've seen before.
Handlebars: I'm not totally sure what years had chrome. I think 2001-2002.
Front wheel: It has a white plastic cap on the left. That should match the rim.
Turn Signals: They are the 1989-2000 style.

Interesting mix of things. The VIN will tell you what year it is titled as. There should be a sticker on the frame that indicates the country and date of manufacture.

It might be a model made for your area.

Let us know what you can uncover about the model.

@adidasguy, you definitely do the post mortem of thing at a glance  :2guns:  :D, have been following your posts. yup it had white rims and colour also, got a black paint job later. basically these bikes here are used by the highway and military police, mine is an auctioned bike and probably had a make over, engine including.
so far she is not giving me any major problems. have a slight oil leak from the tacho cable probably and it spurts some oil on the engine. will post the pics to get a CSI type diagnosis from the big guns like yourself, weedahoe, buddha  :thumb:...sorry if i mssed other pro's as haven't completely surfed the forum.

and i already have bled the brakes utilizing the info here, will be changing the oil and filter myself too on this weekend... any thing else to look out for or do??... like tuning or something. ain't that much mechanically inclined to the engine stuff so thinking of getting a hayne's or a clymer's to save dough from now on  ;)

Twisted

Nice bike  :thumb: Do a spark plug change too when you do oil and filter.

There is a little o-ring on the tach cable and mount.
You can clean and see if the oil comes out of the screw in of the tach cable or from the engine head around where the tach cable mount bolts to the head.
You can unscrew the tach cable if that's where it is leaking and look at the o-rings.
if leaking around the head, then you can remove the tach thingy and maybe put some gasket sealer around it and bolt back to the head.
Where it is on the head, oil is just flowing and splashing around. It is not under pressure. This is inside the head showing the tach gear that mates with the exhaust cam. Obviously here oil is not under pressure. It should be an easy fix.I

If you need parts, I have no idea how difficult it would be to send to you from the US. Well, probably extremely difficult.

I added a pix of the tachthingy that mounts in the head. Held on by 1 bolt.

 @adidas guy... you sure are meticulous man, thanks for the detailed description with the pics. wilco, will fix the tacho cable leak asap probably on this weekend. actually i'm a doc here and routine's pretty much f'd up at the hospital. i hope this tacho cable leak is not a bigee as in it won't be messing with the engine ? :dunno_black:. ride strong and ride safe.

First you want to clean the area SPOTLESS! and DRY. Then baby powder it. The source of the leak will be obvious.
It may be as simple as tightening the tach cable. Might be an o-ring on them. It will be minor and easy to fix.

Feel free to post a picture when you start to see the oil in the baby powder. I think it would be helpful to everyone to see an oil leak in baby powder. We tell people to do it. They say they did it. No picture of oil in the powder so people know what it looks like.

You won't have to open up the engine or even take off the valve cover. I showed the pictures so you know what is there. You can fix it from the outside.

roger @adidasguy... will do it and take the snaps also.
