Hahah when i was building s10s my girlfriend used to frequent the the s10forum i was on all the time, mostly to toss ideas around off the other guys and follow a few of the female builders. she didnt even own one herself just like talking about it since it was pretty much all i talked about, her and the trucks are now gone but its fun to find another female interested in something her husband loves. That and this forum is a whole lot smaller and more tight knit. welcome :)

Since you're related to Puma, that means you're in my area, too. Glad to hear there will be at least three GS's on the roads around GR this year.

Hopefully soon too, since spring is just around the corner.

MSF course at Fox before any riding though. Safety first and what not.

Not looking too much like spring today. Damn that Punxsutawney Phil. Always knew the little fucker was a liar.  >:(  If you can't trust a groundhog to tell you when spring will arrive, who can you trust? :dunno_black:

I got into one of the first GRCC rider courses at the end of April for a refresher. It helps shake off the winter rust quicker. The GRCC classes in the GR area filled up quicker than usual this year, probably due to not having any classes available at GVSU. Though, I think there are still plenty of seats open at the Air National Guard Base in Battle Creek.  :thumb: Of course, it's a hassle to get through security (each day) just to take the class.

We're taking ours at Fox Powersports. Are you the owner of the blue 01+ GS500E I would see every friday at GRCC?

Nope, not me. 2007 Black/Silver (Gray) here.

I know there are more in the area, considering how many I see on the local CL from time to time, but they don't seem to find their way here. We might have to get some business cards printed up that we can leave on these bikes as we see them...

When is your class at Fox?

Next time feel free to step in and put me in my place. I seem to have a tendency to go off topic...

The best way to fit in here is to give as much or more crap than you get.

In any case, welcome again. I look forward to seeing your progress on your '89 in your other thread...and seeing it around town once it's up & running. Is it your first bike or just your first GS500 (aside from hubby's, of course)?

It's my very first bike. I'm pretty anxious and excited to get it up and running and riding when the weather decides to improve.
