See if you can find a Honda XR250. Those bikes were great. I got one probably 10-15th hand (was a 1986 I believe) and it took a beating and a half and kept on going.
+1 on that comment. Those bikes would still be going after everything had fallen off.
including its rider. id say have a look see as well. quite available and depending on states of thrashed outness, quite cheap too. ( yet still running)

Not a fan! :dunno_black: I would still keep a look out for the Honda as I and everyone else has pretty much stated. You really cant go wrong.
The other bike that comes to mind is the TT250 and TT350 made by Yamaha. They were and still are very popular here and also had a good rep of being WAY over powered. First bike that ever scared the sheet outa me was the TT250.

I am not interested in anything you have to say

I have a CR125.  I love it, but it fouls plugs like crazy and it is bone stock -done it since it was brand new.

Personally, I would kill for a Honda 250 4 stroke.  Not nearly as fun to ride, but far less fussy -and a starter!  The early generation ones may be in your range...maybe

I have discovered the Ontario Dirt Bike market is garbage. Much better deals everywhere else lol.
