LMFAO . found a used starter along with the needed wheel and choke lever cheaper than a new starter alone.

starter is shot lol. the drill/screwgub i borrowed, wont take the load. could buy a drill and use that, but ill wait til i get my hands on the pparts i was eyeballin

Yup shes broken :/

Dammit hell, day went from      to  . tried to drillstart the scooter. got it running. i was happy. was going to take it for a ride. but i shut it down to check a few other things. glad i did. flywheel/crank bolt went flying off. no idea where. so now its grounded until i round up funds to add that to parts order lol 
not trying that shaZam! again

Did. found everything BUT said nut. its an m12x1.5 a 12mm metric fine thread. will stop @ auto partshaus tomorrow after work. only 2mi from job. or napa which is closer. 1/4 mile give or take 20ft. will locktite this pig on lol. when hte engine started it undid hte torque i gave the nut, and some fat lady sang, cause it was over lol.  thats life i guess.  but teh mcgyvered drillstart worked. once i locate a nut for it, ( besides its rider of course) it WILL be locktited on. took hte shroud off to make sure nut didnt go down inside and tear anythign up. other than a bit of dust, compartment was clean.

in a non perverse way, doesnt it just suck when you lose your nuts  . no worries, adv. auto should have some on hand.

purchased 8mm nut. ( 12mm outside 8mm-1.0 inside.) got her back together using some locktite. since i have 3 of them, ill try starting her tomorrow. also the striped tape came in today. after an hour stripping off the old decal set, i put this on. damn shes loud lol ( visually)

Grip tape fits well, to me it reads, "CAUTION: This thing is ridiculously fun!"

  lol i could get my hands on some marine grade or heavy duty plywood and make another one. hell it only takes 10 minutes to swap out a deck. ( 4 bolts)

parts have been ordered. i think shipped/processed today. so what a week time give or take . depends on how fast ddm ships. ( www.davesmotors.com ). ive used them pretty much exclusively if i bought new parts. ordered a piston stopper, so i dont break anymore fins off flywheel, a spring assist pull-start, and the engagement disc. both of which were damaged in wreck. $42 i really didnt want to spend. but means the difference of riding or not riding. ( also found a used magnesium wheel, and choke knob so i dont have to use my leatherman.
