OK what is the ruling on this? I waited 12 hours for Alex to post before I did. I also had to wait at the park for the family that was there to leave so I did not look like a creeper..

So "WINNER" or  Weener..  ;)

Winner. 12 hours is plenty of time, I think. On ADVRider forums, there is no time factor: first pic posted is the winner. It's called getting "Bruced".

Ok then..
NEXT CHALLENGE:
Your GS next to a El Camino/Ranchero/Ute type vehicle (Car with a bed like a truck) like this.

No home made jobs, has to be from the factory like that, no Subaru Brats or anything similar to those. Bonus points if it is muscle car era, extra bonus points if it is one of those Caddy funeral flower car thingies from the 50s-60s..

Just to clarify...

In Aust we have what we call a Ute. They come with a style side or tray back. This is the style side...

Is this the kind of thing you are after?

Ya I am gonna call bullsheet on that one, that's a flatbed Toyota pickup..  I clearly stated Car with a bed and has to come from the factory like that. That my friend is a Toyota pickup with a flatbed on it.

Cal,

That's why I asked for clarification. In Aust we call them both UTEs

The style side....

The tray back....

Both come from the factory like that. The trayback can be bought without the tray, but almost noone does. The sides of the tray can be removed making it a "flatbed" - as Cods has done. BUT we still call it a ute, down here.

To an Aussie a UTE means the style side as well as the trayback with or without sides.

Ahh, its pretty obvious the tray back is a pickup front end to me. I should have stated it more clearly I guess, I actually included Ute for you guys as I am sure Rancheros and El Caminos are a bit rare. I should have said something made by GM (Holden) or Ford that shares the same front end sheet metal as a car model..

This is why it is confusing for us, Cal

You've seen the style side I showed?

Well, here is the same XR6 ute but with a tray?

That shares the same front end as a car model. So would That be acceptable even though it has a tray and not a style side? The importance is in the front end matching a sedan's front end, right?
