So, I just cant decide where to start and need a little swaying... Just picked up a '93 a couple weeks ago, gave it the rudimentary tune-up, removed stuff I deemed unnecessary: such as center stand, evap canister, mud guard, tail light, and stuff like that. put in a new LED tail light and blinkers and just got done plasti-dipping the tank, fender and fairings. I need your help people, I got a build block and cant decide where to start next, suggestions?

but the paint/dip .. looks good!.. i do like the 'semi-gloss' finish ... 

.... front springs?! .. rear spring/shock ... staino chainguard!! (good for 3.7 hp gain! ).. pirelli sportdemon tyres... ummmm... led bulbs in dashlights/idiot lights .. ummm... garrett tx25 turbo ... ummm... nah i'm done.. 


edit.... oh and 'Tarnation Varmint!!! ... tidy up that electric spaghetti half hanging out of the frame under the front of seat!! ... messy!! 

aye id start with the wiring, then ride the bike for a bit, figure out what you want performance wise if anything, maybe a 15t or even a 14t front sprocket? an inexpensive exhaust mod? possibilities are endless here. wallets however arent. But once you figure out what it is you hope to accomplish, you can pretty much do anything.

I've started the wiring, The guy I bought it from made a real mess of it. I'm okay with the stock power since its just going to be my commuter but I just can't decide on a look, I guess I'll just button up the wiring and start on suspension and go from there.

when you do the front springs  Sonic Springs! .. (to suit your weight) ... you'll love it.... and when you do the rear spring also ... well you just might have to go to the hospital to get 'mah motorbike got stuck on mah Willie!' removal

Your rear turn signals look like mini hard-ons 

The plasti-dip looks great.  You should dip the headlight bucket also.
Fix the wiring.
Paint or powder coat the wheels.
Front springs and cartridge emulators, rear R6R shock.
Ride the piss out of it until it's time for better tires and brakes.

Looks great so far.  I've never heard of plasti-dip.  Could you expain further?  I think those huge front blinkers gotta go for some like you put on the rear.  I'm not a big fan of the factory mirrors either.  You can shave some weight and clean up the look with some bar-end style mirrors.

Look up dip your car on YouTube. Its kind of like doing vinyl wrapping but it is so much more durable. They use the spray kit but I just bought the rattle cans on the same stuff they use at Home Depot. It's basically a plastic coating that you do in 5-6 coats waiting a half hour between coats then you let it sit over night. It cleans by just powerwashing it it's got a really light texture to it which I think is sweet, and the cool thing is that if you want to go back to just the stock paint you just peel it off like vinyl. Only cost $30 to do the whole bike. Definitely doing the blinkers and mirrors. Gotta get with the times.

edit: by the not judging you.  I used it on my track bike and it looked ok for about a week before it was ruined.

Are you sure you did enough coats cause I have buddy with it on his bike and its been great for the last 3 months or so. Also... Anyone have a 14 tooth up front? I'm gonna give it a try but I was just wondering what you guys thought of the change from experience with it.
