(looks in... hmm... grabs popcorn and drink... sits on a bench.. "here we go!!" ) ..

i love seeing the 'engineers battle it out' ..  ;)

what i know is this... I apply rotational force to the throttle... and if i get the direction right the bike moves faster!! .. unless i forget to click it into gear!! ..

that is what i need to know also...  :D

... however... please continue... i'll just sms the guys!! .. we can make it like a movie night.... hope someone remembers the pizza this time!! ..

Haha, I think we both agree with each other actually, Badot was just adding to my explanation.

Anyway sorry to hijack the thread, mods feel free to move it all if you like.

Let me just say that my bike is supposed to be locked at 33 bhp and it doesn't do anything like what you're describing. I can get it to about 150 km/h (93 mph) without any problems. After that it starts to go in the red I think. About 105 mph is the fastest I've ever rode it.

Pretty sure I've found the problem - after fitting the restrictors, I'm pretty sure I didn't route the carb vent hose properly. Wasn't hanging out the bike, but was exposed to the wind, maybe some turbulence from the fairing, etc. Rerouted it and the problem's disappeared. Had the bike up to a beastly 85mph yesterday  ;) I think that's almost fast enough to go Back to the Future! Thanks for everyone's help!
