would these fit a 150 tire?
slightly modded 09 Gs500f
pro taper contour handle bars
sv650 headlight
gsxr750 forks
sv650 tail
gsxr wheels
two brothers slip on (gsxr 1000)

airbrush

Fits a 140 no problem...150 would be pushing it for clearances. Not sure if anyone has tried it with a 150.

Spring is here finally..
Got my hugger from Adidasguy installed!

Now what is this I read that I need to let the brake side 'float? I have the hugger mounted tightly with ss screws on the ss chain guard. On the other side I have the zip ties very tight, with the rubber gasket underneath so it doesn't creep.. I presume that is the correct way. I cannot imagine it truely needs to float.. but maybe it does. I had come across a thread where that was mentioned as the right side does not move with the swingarm.

Thanks Again AirBrush for making these, and thanks AdidasGuy for coming off your last one prior to us knowing they were going back into production

You did it right. That's the instructions and after 2 years on my bikes they are fine.

airbrush

yup, that's installed as per my instructions, riveted with washers under chaingaurd, zip tied with rubber gasket under other side. Have had mine on my bike for years (since i started making them) and never been an issue.

Another here just bolted my hugger up;

The german chain guard is a slight different angle so i had to add a little spacer on the rear screw. Fits great and looks ever better, thanks again airbrush!

Not using the American Made stainless chain guard? It fits PERFECT and was designed with the hugger in mind.
Well, you're off my list! (Well, I guess it is OK since it is German and not cheap Chinese crap)

PS: I thinkyour bike will run better if it has a chain on it. No need for a chain guard if there is no chain  :flipoff:

steezin_and_wheezin

Haha the chain is going to get all my new parts dirty. So I'm going chainless!

Just don't oil it. It may not last as long but chains are cheap. Why waste money on lube and cleaning the bike?

steezin_and_wheezin

Doh why didn't I think of that, yer logic is flawless!

jdoorn14

Or maybe steezin is only planning on going downhill. Then there's no need for a chain.
