I replaced my clutch lever last night thanks to Kerry's detailed instructions. Now that the new lever is on the bike will only start when the clutch is disengaged. This could be a problem if I should stall at a green light or need to start in frist gear.I'm assuming this has something to do with the sensor that screws into the bottom of the lever. Has anyone else experienced this?? How did you resolve the issue?? I tried taking it back off and puting it on but this did nothing.

Just take the sensor off. My bike had the same deal, follow the two lines into the headlight, connect M to F inside and just take the whole deal off.

Looks as if you have the NC switch connected (normally closed) instead of the NO switch (normally open). My GS doesn't have that switch. Does it have three connectors (most microswitches do)? One of the connectors is Common, one is Normally Open, the third is Normally Closed (often labelled as C, NO, NC, or you may have the self-explanatory schematic sign there.) Switch one of the connectors and everythign should be fine.
