Hey guys, so this isn't a GS500 related question, but I am wondering if any of you guys have ever heard of this sight or bought from it by any chance. I posted a thread about it in the yamaha triple forum I am a part of but I fear they will not get back to me in time if ever, they aren't very active. Anyways, heres the website:

http://www.biker.net/lloyd/index.htm

I called him up asking about gaskets for a 78 Yamaha XS750SE and he said that he could get me the whole set, everything I need, for 84 bucks while I was looking at one head gasket online that was 99 bucks alone! There are no sets on ebay with all the gaskets I need, and in any case I would have to order multiple expensive pieces. What do you guys think about this guy? Thanks,

Jake
I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

RIP Patrick Lajko, I miss you man.

I used to run a Lambretta scooter shop in SF in the 80's and I made all my own paper gaskets.  The special rubber or metal ones should be the only ones you have to buy unless you are clever.  I used to make aluminum head gaskets from pie pans I got at the thrift store.  A little Permatex or contact cement and I never had leaks.

Hahaha yea, to be honest I dont have the time or the know how to make my own gaskets. But I think this guy is making his own or buying them from some one who makes them custom orders or something.

I have one of the "other" R6 shocks sometimes used as a Lammy shock upgrade taking up space in my garage. Know anyone that can use it?

I have never heard of this guy myself but if you use PayPal you get "some" protection.
Looking at those Yamaha triples makes me want to get an older 2 stroke Kawi triple
