Hey all,

VTlion here - This board has been a great asset to me from my 97 GS to 04 SV to 07 ZZR.  To you newer members, I may be the (unfamiliar) prodigal son, but I'm legit!  People like Pandy, Pantablo, Yama' and Seshadri will remember me.

I recall that our board is chocked full of the engineering and science crowd. I answered several science-related PM's in my time here back when I was in grad school, and I have more recently started a youtube channel for the high-school and college level chemically-inclined among us.

I would love to get some feedback on the videos on this channel from our college student population, either through direct comment on youtube, email to chemsurvial@gmail.com or through this board.  I'm a bona-fide university professor at Georgetown U in DC.  I make a few pennies on the adverts, but the real goal of the channel is to help demystify chemistry for folks in need of quality instruction.

I appreciate anyone who takes a look and offers feedback.  I also appreciate the mods letting an old-timer semi-troll to promote his outreach!

On a side note, do you have a formula for disappearing cats? Some kind of compound that could make cats invisible? I'd be interested in that. I'm tired of cats.  Dang, just now on Conan, he did an internet cat joke. I can't wait for a comet to hit earth and wipe out our food supply. It'll be fun watching cat owners eat their furry little friends.

Did you know if a cat dies at home in china (or the US) it gets eaten by people by means of finger licking good BBQ sauce?

Did you know if a cat gets run over it dries up flat on the road and you can throw it like Frisbee or boomerang?

.... happened on Red Dwarf!!! .. then over millions of years the cats evolved ... till this was the result!!

now... so as to not be a complete bastard ...

subbed the channel!! ... watched the vid titled "a simple dean stark apparatus" .... now my head hurts!! 

but i have a question?!?... is he Tony Stark's little known brother? .. cos i can see how keeping water molecules and thence corrosion out of the circuitry of the Ironman suit would be a very good idea!! .. dang thing had enough early glitches in it without introducing damp circuits!! .. 

OMG, thanks for making my morning, everybody!  When I saw this thread I laughed so hard I nearly spilled my coffee.   

I did have a thought that if I changed all the video thumbnails to shots of boob cleavage that I might get more views.  Might be an interesting social experiment
