I use a $3 medicine syringe from CVS. Attach a bit of clear fluid hose, and you can use it to pump fluid up through the bleeder. Pushes the bubbles out. Finish off with a quick manual bleed, to remove any air from the MC. Tapping the caliper like a soda can can help as well.

I gave up with the syringe idea & went back to using the brake lever to pump the fluid down......took 2 mins.
