Im looking for a starter flywheel. The one located right behind the stator. PLEASE PM me!! NEED ASAP!

You are using some terms which can cause confusion.

There is a big starter gear that mates with the magnet assembly (sometimes referred to as rotor,  magneto or flywheel).
There is a clutch mechanism that allows the starter gear to engage the magnet rotor and disengage once the motor is running.

Do you just need a starter gear? Or do you need the magnet rotor?

The stator is attached to the side cover. That is the coil assembly that generates electricity.

Confusing to say you need the flywheel that is right behind the stator, since the stator is on the side cover and is located with on the magnet rotor when the engine is all put together.

AH! I believe it is the big starter gear. Its the gear that has 8 holes in the middle of it.

would an 02 starter gear work for an 09 engine??

Any year will work. You should be able to find one in Canada.
Very unusual for that part to go bad.

the engine i bought didnt have it inside. my old one does but i dont have the flywheel removal tool. better to keep it on the old one and sell it together when i rebuild the engine

Page 8-22 of the Haynes manual tells you how to remove the rotor with a 36mm long spacer and an M14x1.5 bolt.
believe me - it works! I've used that method 4 times. Works line a charm!

I made the spacer by cutting off a bolt. It has to be small enough to go inside the hole and not tough the threads.
The M14x1.5 needs to be strong. They suggest using a swing arm bolt if you don't have any as that's the only bolt on the GS500 with those threads.
