Like the title says, I'm parting out a 2009 GS500 that has a blown engine. I am the original owner, the parts have 24,039 miles on them. This is my first part out, but I am a very motivated seller! All parts will be cleaned to the best of my ability before shipped and they'll include any nuts and bolts that I see fit or that you ask for. I've included a few pictures of the bike, but if there's a part you want that you can't see just feel free to ask me and I'll be more than happy to get a pic of it. I'll be taking the bike apart over the next week. Prices listed do not include shipping, and they aren't set in stone so if you think one of my prices are unreasonable feel free to make me an offer. If you purchase multiple parts from me at once I will cut you a pretty good deal on your order! Zip code shipped from will be 89014.

I'll do my best to ship anything ordered the same day that it's ordered, before 5 P.M. PST.

Prices:
Hand controls (Basically everything but the levers and the brake reservoir) - 35 for both (20 each)
Levers - 10 each

Hi there,
I'd be interested in the carbs. Let me find out first if they are the same as the ones on my 1991 GS500.
Thanks,

I don't believe the carbs are compatible, correct me if I'm wrong though.

If it seized then I already know what happened.

Saw a few patches of oil around some seals but pretty sure it was burning oil. The exhaust headers were loose as well. Not too sure on the extent of the damage

Trwhouse

Hi again,
You are right. The carbs won't work on my bike.
Thanks anyway and good luck.

whats you best price for the gas tank shipped to 92231

Yoshu

I'm holding the tank for someone till the end of the week unfortunately, nothing has sold yet though so if he doesn't come through then you'll have second dibs!

Yoshu

Still have yet to sell anything.. I'm not sure if people aren't interested because I have low rep or what the deal is! If my prices are too high, negotiate with me! So I've decided to get the ball rolling and build some rep I'm offering the first person to reply in this thread with a part that's under 30 bucks, either one that I have listed or a part THAT YOU THINK is worth 30 bucks off my bike is FREE (shipping is not however). COME ON PEOPLE! Let's get it going!

Yoshu

Sorry I forgot to add that the person who gets the free part must be an active member of this community (have a high trade count or a lot of posts)

Be aware, this is not very wise advise!

Yoshu

I'm not familiar with a part called "perfect" could you specify Slack?

Slack

I just wanted to get a post out before anyone else.   :woohoo:
I thought it was 'perfect' that I happened to stumble onto your thread at the perfect time.  So that's what I posted.
I'd be happy with your bar end mirrors and the little wire bracket that holds the rear brake line away from the caliper torque arm.  It attaches at the front bolt for the torque arm.

What brand are the front brake pads?
